Sven-Erik Olsen
Sven-Erik Olsen is a pop rock singer, songwriter and producer based in Minneapolis.
His work reflects his love for mid-60s pop by writers such as Goffin/King, Bacharach/David, Lennon/McCartney, Ray Davies, Brian Wilson and Antônio Carlos Jobim.
A heady synthesis of baroque pop, power pop and jangle pop, his sound has been broadly compared to the acts that followed in their wake: Big Star, Elvis Costello and XTC, as well as everyone from Bauhaus to Stereolab to the Paisley Underground and C86 groups.
He is also a huge Bob Dylan, Prince & Hüsker Dü fan.
